Argentina Soccer Jersey

The first international soccer match the Argentina national team played was in 1901 and was against Uruguay. The game was held in Montevideo and the final score was 3-2 to Argentina. In those early matches the Argentina soccer jersey was white with white shorts and grey socks. The more famous light blue and white striped Argentina soccer jersey was introduced in 1911 and with the black shorts and white socks are still the same today.
